Kathy Anderson
Owner/Pilates & GYROTONIC® Instructor
Kathy's experience in business management and dance have prepared
Kathy in manifesting her current vision expressed through her "world class"
Pilates studio. Fully Stott trained, Certified Pilates Golf instructor
and Certified Gyrotonic and Gyrokinesis teacher, Kathy is committed to bringing an
integrative approach to well-being through Pilates, Gyrotonic exercise and
movement techniques by opening My Pilates Studio. It is a studio to nurture
the balance of mind, body and spirit thus creating overall positive physical
benefits. It's also an environment where programs and services are presented
by experienced, credentialed and committed instructors. As her mother said
to her shortly before her death, "Find something you love to do and the rest
will fall into place." What a wise woman she was!

Peri Akers
Stott Certified Pilates/Yoga Instructor
Peri has a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Natural Healing and has had 100 Hours of private Yoga training from Jyotika. She is a Kripalv Institute-trained yogi under direct guidance of Dr. Amrit Pesai. She is also a Physical Mind Certified Pilates Instructor and is Stott certified in Pilates. Peri’s other credits include A.C.E. Certified Fitness Trainer, Reebok Core training instructor, Precision Cycling Instructor, Postural Analysis Specialist, and a Total Body Flexibility Specialist.

Vanessa Corrigan
Certified Pilates Instructor
Vanessa has been practicing Pilates daily since 1997. As a fully certified Pilates
instructor, with a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts from Ohio University, Vanessa
has taught private and group classes on Pilates apparatus and mat since 2001.
Vanessa has attended Pilates Methods workshops with Stott Pilates, Ron Fletcher,
and at Physical Mind Institute with Joan Breibart and Barbara Sampson. While
managing the equipment teacher training course for The Physical Mind Institute
in NYC, Vanessa was a fitness model for two instructor-training manuals, and
the assistant editor of Pilates Protocols, a comprehensive guide geared toward
teaching Pilates to people with special contraindications. Vanessa's consistent
and positive attitude is attributed to her personal passion for pure foods
and spiritual practice.

Shari Bowman
Registered Yoga Instructor
Shari Bowman is a Registered Yoga Instructor, teaching in the Dayton area for over 6 years. Shari has studied extensively with John Friend, and is listed on his website as an Anusara-inspired teacher. Most recently, she completed a weeklong training with John Friend in Yoga Therapeutics. Shari has also studied with many well known teachers, including: Shiva Rea, Baron Baptiste, Rodney Yee, Doug Swenson, and Cindi Lee from Om Yoga Studio. She is the only certified Yoga for Golfers instructor in Ohio. Shari brings an athletic spin to her Yoga practice, incorporating core and strength training into a heart inspiring class. Hatha, Anusara, and Ashtanga blend together seamlessly as the class unfolds. Each class is designed to challenge the body, open the heart, and inspire evolution.

Janet Lawson
Transformational Breath Work Instructor
Janet has spent over 27 years as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor and Employer Services Trainer serving people with disabilities and educating the business community and the public about diversity issues, accommodations for success, and creating opportunities for people. She assists hundreds of individuals into careers and independence. Since retirement, Janet has completed the Master Organic Gardener Program and is involved in the Cox Arboretum Herb Study Group. Over the last two years, she has completed training in Transformational Breath Work with Judith Kravitz. Janet offers workshops and seminars throughout the region bringing this breathwork to those wishing to access their inner wisdom and healing power.

Sandy Locke Burkley
Stott Certified Pilates Instructor
Sandy changed her career as a landscape architect and city planner to become a Pilates instructor in 2006. She has always been interested in biomechanics and movement, and she has been passionate about Pilates since first introduced in a dance class in 1978. Sandy holds Stott certification in mat work and all equipment, as well as completing additional Stott training for Injuries and Special Populations.

Robin Gentry-McGee
Board Certified Health and Wellness Consultant
As a Certified Health and Wellness Consultant, Robin has worked in many aspects of the holistic health field, from her business of growing herbs and organic gardening to opening the area's first organic whole foods restaurant, Just Great Foods. Most recently, Robin graduated with honors from the prestigious Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City with the Certification of Holistic Health Counselor. Her studies were facilitated by renowned leaders such as Andrew Weil, Deepak Chopra and Mark Hyman. She is also an accredited member of the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. Robin received Healing with Whole Foods Certification from Heartwood Institute in California. Robin's current projects include co-authoring a book with Paul Pitchford, nutritional director of Heartland Institute. She believes in the innate wisdom and healing potential of the human spirit utilizing her vast knowledge of nutritional and alternative modalities.

Kelly Hull
Certified Pilates Instructor
Moving to Dayton several years ago from the east coast, Kelly has been practicing and studying Pilates for over 10 years. Certified in the Ron Fletcher method, who studied with Joseph Pilates himself, Kelly enjoys working with athletes and has experience helping clients with injuries or other special needs. Kelly’s background as a Registered Nurse gives her a deeper understanding of the body and extended expertise with unique client requirements. Trained on all Pilates apparatus, she also teaches Fletcher floor classes, towel and magic circle, spine corrector and toning classes. Privates or group, athlete or rehab and anywhere in between, her style is unique and one that clients will fine challenging, fun and ultimately satisfied with the results.

Kim Chadwell
Licensed Managing Esthetician
Kim is a Licensed Managing Esthetician and a Licensed Managing Manicurist. She completed the Spa-Esthiology program at the Aveda Fredric’s Institute in Cincinnati in 2006. Kim spent two years working as a skin care specialist and nail technician in a day spa and two years in a medical spa before starting with My Pilates Studio. She has extensive continuing education in relaxation techniques, like European facial massage, as well as corrective skin care procedures, including superficial chemical peels. She also has experience using several professional product lines, such as PCA, Aveda, Spa Ritual, Obagi, Skin Ceuticals, Murad, and Jane Iredale.

Melissa Ledinsky
Pilates/Yoga Instructor
Melissa has over 10 years of experience in the fitness and nutrition field in addition to a wide sports background. Melissa received a Bachelor of Science from University of Dayton in Dietetics and Nutrition. She is fully Stott trained and is working on a 200-hour Anusara Yoga immersion. Melissa enjoys working with people of all ages and fitness backgrounds from the complete novice to the sport elite. She will help you not only understand how and why your body works the way it does, but also the proper way to train and fuel it to develop it efficiently and to produce maximum results.

Tina Hazel
Stott Certified Pilates Instructor
While teaching many different group exercise formats for over 18 years, Tina discovered Pilates in 1999 while working as a master trainer with Resist-a-Ball. She soon found herself studying the matwork and then becoming certified with Physical Mind Institute. After teaching matwork for a while and loving the strength she had gained, she decided to become fully certified through Stott Pilates in Level 1 and Level 2, as well as Injury and Special Populations. Tina finds it very rewarding to help people regain movement after an injury, illness or surgery. She applies Pilates techniques in all forms of movement, dance, and everyday life. Tina is also nationally certified with AFAA, Stott Pilates, Resist-a-Ball, and TRX.

Angela Good
Licensed Massage Therapist
Angela is a Licensed Massage Therapist with over 12 years experience. She attended the Dayton School of Medical Massage in Dayton Ohio and then became licensed by the Ohio State Medical Board for massage therapy. Angela’s clients found that massage benefited their ailments and then became a treatment of choice to prevent pain, tension and injury. From 1999 to 2002, Angela continued to advance her education in neuromuscular therapy, allowing a greater understanding of muscular conditions and new ways to treat problems. Her passion is to support people in the prevention and rehabilitation of the body.

Mia Acosta
Certified Pilates Instructor
Mia has been studying Pilates since 2000. She has Pendleton Pilates Certification and is Stott trained. Mia has taught fitness classes since 1985 and has a BSN from Wright State University and a BA from Ohio State University. Mia has lived in France and the Virgin Islands, where she studied fitness and wellness. With her background in nursing and health, Mia’s passion is the promotion of wellbeing and the prevention of illness and injury.

Andrea Cousins
Stott Certified Pilates Instructor
Andrea’s Pilates journey began back in 2000 after reading an article about Pilates’ benefits for the abdominals. She received her Mat certification in London, England in 2006 and her full level 2 Stott Mat and Equipment certification in 2008 in Dallas, Texas. In 2009 she received the prestigious position of Pilates coordinator for Equinox, an upscale fitness club in Dallas. After 5 years of teaching, she has worked with all levels and generations of clients and looks forward to sharing her passion for Pilates. Andrea believes Pilates should make you feel good from the inside out and you should enjoy your workouts! Andrea also holds a BA of Spanish and Business from the University of Pittsburgh and an MA of International Studies from the University of Leeds. She resides in Centerville with her husband and daughter.

Justina Crawford
Yoga Instructor
Justina began practicing yoga in 2008 while working for Lululemon Athletics in Chicago. Given the gift of yoga anywhere in the city, she took advantage and dove into her multifaceted
journey. Practicing Hatha, Ashtanga, Lyengar, Anusara, Bikram, and other styles, she found her niche with Power Yoga in September 2010. Justina began teaching and simultaneously completing a Power Yoga training. As she continued to pioneer yoga in her small corner of eastern Ohio, Justina’s passion for the practice and teaching continued to grow. In 2011. She completed Level 1 and Level 2 of Baptiste Power Yoga Vinyasa training and is currently pursuing certification through the Baptiste Power Yoga Institute.
Yoga has transformed her life spiritually, mentally, and physically and her passion is to share that light with others.

Bronwen Owsley
Belly Dance Instructor
Bronwen is an award winning professional belly dancer, instructor and choreographer from Dayton, Ohio. Locally, she has danced at many restaurants such as Therapy Café, Taste of the Mediterranean, Kohinoor Palace, Pasha Grille, and events and festivals such as Urban Nights, the Lebanese Festival and Lady Fest. In 2007, she won first place in the Personal Best Middle Eastern Dance Competition Headliner category, and in 2010, she took first place in the Personal
Best Troupe Competition with “ Banat Alexandria”, the professional Middle Eastern Dance Company she created and directs. Bronwen has also studied ballet and modern dance and holds a Fine Arts degree in Theatre. She has a choreographer on Kettering Children’s Theatre and Sinclair Theatre Productions.. Performing and teaching are her passions and she loves to share and connect with audiences and her students.

Zatanna Al-Naseem
Belly Dance Instructor
Zattana has been actively studying and professionally performing Middle Eastern dance since 2001. Troupe Director of the multi-award-winning troupe, Roja, she is well-known for her fun and innovative choreography. Zattana and Troupe Roja perform all over the Miami Valley Area and beyond at annual events such as A World A'Fair and Dayton's Lebanese Festival. Zattana shares her extensive knowledge of Middle Eastern culture and music with her students, and instructs multiple genres within the art form, including Turkish, Egyptian, Tribal, and Folkloric styles. She specializes in American style belly dance and loves prop-work: finger cymbals, veils and fan-veils, balancing props like sword and shamadan, cane, and Isis wings are among her favorites. Zattana's classes stress proper technique and stage presence, while encouraging student growth with individual feedback. A strong advocate of continuing education, she endeavors to deepen her knowledge of dance by studying with such internationally-renown master instructors as Ava Fleming, John Compton, Dahlia Carella, Artemis Mourat, Leila Gamal, Ruby Jazayre, and others to endure she delivers fresh and inspiring instruction to her students.

Natalie Seto-Mitchell
Yoga Instructor
Natalie is passionate about yoga and enjoys sharing her experiences through teaching. She believes that the practice of yoga inspires us to strengthen the body, to quiet the mind and to lift the spirit – opening us to transformation. Along her yoga journey, she has had the honor of being deeply inspired by many master teachers including: Rod Stryker, Gary Kraftsow, Erich Schiffman, John Friend, Bryan Kest, Sianna Shermann, Karina Myrsky, Matthew Sanford and Katy Knowles of YogahOMe in Cincinnati, where she took her teacher training. She believes in meeting students where they are in their individual practice and teaches Power and Peace yoga, a combination of a strong athletic practice followed by a more yin inspired session designed for deep opening and quieting the mind for meditation.
